Spring Preview: A busy season in St. Barth

As of January, over 35 maxi yachts had registered for the annual St Barth Bucket, a prestigious regatta for sailboats over 100ft in length. With a captain’s briefing and owner’s party on March 27, plus three days of challenging sailing on March 28-30, the Bucket is a highlight on the nautical calendar in Saint Barth.

The Bucket is followed by Les Voiles de Saint Barth (April 14-19), which is expecting as many as 70 boats of various sizes, and the arrival of the Transat Ag2r, a two-handed transatlantic race from France, at the end of April.

The 6th annual West Indies Regatta takes place May 1-4, and includes an artisanal market with Caribbean products, from coffee and chocolate to arts and crafts, on the dock.
