Sea Tow in Broward County Hands out Free Life Jackets

On Saturday December 11, 2010, Sea Tow Ft Lauderdale, in continuing its efforts to promote safe boating, gave away 37 lifejackets at the Family Fishing Clinic, an event hosted at the I.G.F.A. Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum.

All recipients of the lifejackets had to complete Sea Tow’s “Boating Safety Challenge” test which is structured towards educating adults, teens and children about the importance of being safe while on the water. The lifejackets are made available through Sea Tow’s Foundation for Boating Safety and Education, which has distributed close to 10,000 life jackets, nationwide.
