World’s first dual color flood lights Feature DeckSweep Technology
Lumitec, a leading designer and manufacturer of marine LED lighting solutions, announces the debut of their two newest flood lights: the Caprera2 cockpit flood light and the Capri2 flush mount cockpit flood light.
The Caprera2 and the Capri2 are extensions of the top selling Caprera and Capri line. They are
Leveraging Lumitec’s proprietary Timed Toggle Protocol, both lights offer dimming and color-changing capabilities. Users can choose from Blue & White or Red & White output using a standard 2-wire connection and any ordinary on/off switch.
The Caprera2 and the Capri2 also utilize Lumitec’s proprietary DeckSweep Optical System. DeckSweep is a radially asymmetrical beam that places light where it’s needed most; illuminating to port and starboard while eliminating dark spots. The technology was originally developed for use in Lumitec’s high powered Maxillume flood lights, which are widely used by large sport yachts, sport fishermen, and military boat builders. In the Caprera2 and the Capri2, DeckSweep offers the smaller boat owner greater usable light output with low current draw.
“Customers have been asking us for a dual-color flood light,” said Lumitec Founder and President John Kujawa. “We also saw an opportunity to improve overall efficacy with an optical redesign. These enhancements were a perfect fit for the planned evolutions of our wildly successful Caprera and Capri lights. The result is unlike anything else on the market.”
Lumitec is now accepting pre-orders and shipping will commence on April 20th. Pricing is available upon request. Purchase orders may be sent to: email@example.com.
