Amelia Island Yacht Basin Re-opens Marine Store and Service Center

Amelia Island Yacht Basin, a Suntex Marinas property, announced today the grand re-opening celebration of their Marine Store and Service Center.  The Grand Re-opening is scheduled Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th at the Amelia Island Yacht Basin in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

The Marine Store and Service Center are conveniently located at 251 Creekside Drive in Fernandina Beach, FL or at channel marker 13 on the intercoastal waterway.

Responding to the needs of local boaters and anglers, this newly re-designed store will cater to the needs of all recreational boaters.  With the closest marine store located over 25 miles away, Amelia Island Yacht Basin, with the support of West Marine, will carry all of your necessary marine products such as oil, head deodorizer, environmentally friendly cleaning products, charts, fishing tackle, marine fasteners, polarized sunglasses, marine apparel and much more.

Tom Moore, General Manager of Amelia Island Yacht Basin, said “the new store at Amelia Island Yacht Basin will be a key stopping point along the intercoastal waterway for those looking to re-provision their boats as they head south to warmer waters.” “Our goal is to take care of our customers from the moment they walk in that door. If we don’t have what they need on the shelf, we’ll get it delivered here the next day.”

That kind of customer service is what local boaters have come to expect from Tom Moore and Amelia Island Yacht Basin.  Recently Moore and his staff upgraded their Service Center by purchasing a new 50T marine travelift. The new 50T BFM II will allow Moore and his crew similar access to the bay while being able to transport heavier boats.  The new travelift has features that allow sail boaters and fisherman alike to easily haul without having to rearrange their rigging.  The new marine travelift is a welcome addition to the full-service yard at Amelia Island Yacht Basin.

Head down to Amelia Island Yacht Basin for their November 3rd and 4th Grand Re-opening Celebration, and you will be sure to walk home a winner with prizes and giveaways all weekend long! Stop by the Marine Store between 9am-5pm either day for a chance to win and to see what we have done.  Raffle prizes include gift certificates, marine products and a boat charter.  You can also enter a chance to win a free slip for a year at Amelia Island Yacht Basin (value of up to $4000) by spending $250 or more in the Marine Store.
